THE LIBRARY’S FIRST JURIED PAINTING EXHIBITION June 12 - October 22, 2008 - RECEPTION: Sunday, June 22, 2-4:30pm This exhibition is the third of four this year in the library’s series “Elements of Visual Arts” and features the work of fourteen painters selected by Kenneth Rodgers, who is not only a museum director and distinguished curator, but also a painter. The works in this exhibition are varied and range from the abstract to the representational. Professor Rodgers will present awards and give his commentary at the reception on June 22 at 3:00pm. This exhibition is also made possible by a grant from the Fowler Family Foundation.
